How to report a bug correctly

Bug reports are much easier to act on when they’re specific. If you’ve hit something that looks wrong, it helps a lot to include:

  • What you saw, as plainly as you can — a number, a chart, a card that looked off.
  • What you expected instead — what would have looked right.
  • Which run and date it relates to, if it’s tied to a specific activity.
  • Whether you’re on GPS or Stryd mode — a fair few issues turn out to be mode-specific, so this saves a round trip.

A screenshot usually says more than a description on its own — happy to have both.

Emailing paul@myrunningdashboard.com directly still works exactly as before, if that’s easier for you. Posting here just means other athletes can see if they’ve hit the same thing.

I was looking at Weekly Zone Volume and dont see Sept 14s work out volume.

Thanks for flagging this. I checked your data: Sunday’s run, “60 min Intervals Run with Becs Gentry” on 14 Sep (11.4 km), is in your dashboard data, and your dashboard was rebuilt with it on 14 Sep.

In Weekly Zone Volume, weeks run Monday to Sunday and are labelled by week number. So Sunday 14 Sep is counted in the W37/26 bar (Mon 8 – Sun 14 Sep), not in the newest W38/26 bar, which started on Monday 15 Sep.

If the W37/26 bar is also missing that session, reply here with a screenshot and we’ll dig in further.
